Life Song Commons

Life Song Commons is a cohousehold (that's cohousehold, not cohousing) consisting of a large house and a cottage on a 1.3 acre property immediately adjacent to and part of the larger Songaia Community. It was purchased by five families who lived at Songaia.

Life Song Commons is evolving:

1. Phase 1 (May, 2010 - Oct, 2012): home for 4-5 members in 2 bedrooms and a cottage; common space was also used by the broader neighborhood
2. Phase 2 (Nov, 2012 - Mar, 2013): remodeled and expanded the large house - adding two bathrooms, created two "master suites," and remodeled the kitchen for use by our members. We now use the cottage for summer interns, and guests.
   
3. Phase 3 (??): In the future, we may add additional dwelling(s) to integrate into our larger community neighborhood.

The room/bathroom has been rented.

• our new housemate - who's patience and fortitude with the journey has given her a rich community life - together, as a cohousehold and as an integral member of the larger Songaia community.

Life Song Commons is not currently seeking a new member or members. One of our sister community nodes, New Earth Song is creating new homes, some of which may be available.
